Terms of Use

These terms govern use of this website and online estimate form. A confirmed cleaning may also be governed by a written quote, scope, invoice, or service agreement.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using this website or submitting an estimate request, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to request service for the property. If you do not agree, do not submit the form.

2. Estimates are not final bookings

Website content and form responses are informational. An estimate request does not create a service contract, reserve a date, or guarantee availability. A booking exists only after Lopes Cleaning confirms the scope, price, date, access requirements, and any other applicable terms in writing.

Quotes rely on information provided by the customer. Lopes Cleaning may revise a quote, scope, duration, staffing, or availability if the property condition, size, access, hazards, requested tasks, or other material facts differ from what was disclosed.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • Provide accurate property, access, service, and contact information.
  • Disclose delicate materials, pre-existing damage, pests, biohazards, unsafe conditions, or unusual cleaning needs.
  • Provide safe access, running water, electricity, and a reasonably workable environment unless agreed otherwise.
  • Secure valuables, medications, weapons, confidential materials, and pets before service.
  • Review the confirmed scope and promptly identify priorities or exclusions.
  • Pay approved charges when due under the written quote or invoice.

Lopes Cleaning may refuse, pause, reschedule, or end work when a condition is unsafe, illegal, materially different from what was disclosed, outside the agreed scope, or abusive toward a team member.

4. Promotions and satisfaction guarantee

The 15% new-client offer is governed by the separate Offer Terms. Any satisfaction-guarantee claim is governed exclusively by the written Limited Satisfaction Guarantee, including its 24-hour notice requirement, evidence requirements, exclusions, and one-touch-up remedy.

5. Communications

If you provide contact information and consent, Lopes Cleaning may contact you about your estimate and related service by call, text, or email. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. See the Privacy Policy for more information.

Electronic communications may be delayed, filtered, or undelivered. For urgent scheduling changes, call (978) 728-7503. Do not use the website for emergencies.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Submit false, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized requests.
  • Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Interfere with the website, transmit malicious code, or scrape it unlawfully.
  • Copy or misuse branding, photographs, text, or other protected content.
  • Use the website in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.

7. Intellectual property and third-party links

The Lopes Cleaning name, logo, photographs, videos, website design, and original text are owned by or licensed to Lopes Cleaning and may not be reused without written permission. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; Lopes Cleaning does not control their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

8. Website disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available.” Lopes Cleaning does not promise that every page, message, estimate request, link, or feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available. Service results depend on the agreed scope, property condition, materials, access, and other circumstances described in the confirmed service documents.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lopes Cleaning will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the website, missed electronic messages, or reliance on unconfirmed website information. For an accepted cleaning service, any limitation stated in the confirmed written service documents also applies. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, disputes relating to these website terms will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Before filing a claim, the parties are encouraged to send written notice and attempt a good-faith resolution.

11. Severability, waiver, and updates

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. Lopes Cleaning may update these terms prospectively; the effective date at the top identifies the current version.
